Boxer's X-Series ditches the old battery technology and upgrades to Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) batteries. This means you get twice the power compared to older drills, so you can work on projects for longer without needing to recharge. Plus, unlike older batteries, these Li-Ion ones won't lose their capacity over time, no matter how often you charge them. That's thanks to something called the "memory effect" being a thing of the past with Li-Ion. But Boxer's X-Series goes beyond just powerful batteries. They've also included an LED backlight, which acts like a tiny work light built right into the drill. This lets you see what you're drilling even in dimly lit areas. And to keep you informed, the drill has a battery discharge indicator that shows you how much juice is left, so you'll never be caught off guard by a dead battery in the middle of a project.
